Mundane?
Today was a challenging day for me. My mom, Anne and my brother Paul and my Uncle Dan and I went to Manistique, MI to bury my dad, Bob Gero, who died on July 3, 2006. My siblings have posted about Dad and you can read their posts that honor his memory. Paul. Mary. Ruth.
I mused in my first blog about 2 weeks ago how my life is often mundane. The last two weeks have been a whirling dirvish for me. I will elaborate more when time permits.
Tonight though, I'm heading to my 30th high school class reunion, which I am really looking forward to. Many of my high school friends stopped to my dad's visitation on Thursday evening which was very special to me. Also my co-workers with the State of WI stopped as did my best friend from Ripon College. It's so hard to believe that 30 years of my life have passed as an instant.
I said good-bye yesterday to a father that I loved very much. Tonight I will celebrate his life by attending a class reunion. He was so "Joe College" and always went to his high school and college reunions.
Life is good. Life certainly has not been mundane.

Live large, Sis!
As long as you have family and friends no ones life is "Mundane".
May thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Yes...I am....I have no idea when you asked that...but I am.....no time for blogging....have many ideas, but life is far from mundane in my world...
Hey, Peg: If you write a post, you'll have a trifecta: 3 posts in 3 months and 3 months' worth of archives.
HINT.

mary
