On the road again and again and again.....

Greetings -

I was prompted by my youngest sibling, Ruth, to post something for June Dairy Month.....

I'm not sure really what to post.....I could post about my very dull and non-existent dating life...*sigh* I am very doubtful that this will ever change in my life.

It's hard not to think about wanting to spend time with someone of the opposite sex, but at 49....it truly is a challenge to date...and when I meet someone that I like....seems they never like me and vice versa. Often takes me back to the days in college when I would like some of the "jocks" and they wouldn't like me, except to type a paper for them. I keep telling myself it doesn't matter when it really does.....so I just do the next best thing....keep busy with the dogs, the house and other things important (like work).

I have just returned from Kalamazoo, Michigan where I participated in the UKC Premier, one of the top shows for this venue. Three weeks ago I went to Oklahoma for 4 days of shows down there. It was a very successful show circuit and one of the many I have planned for this summer.

I also did two more days of UKC shows in Ixonia, WI about 45 minutes from me. It was a lot of fun and River had good successes winning a Group 1, Group 3 and Group 4 in the 4 shows he was in. Not to be outdone, River's son, Drifter at his first set of UKC shows (baby classes), earned Best of Breed Gordon on Saturday in both shows and on Sunday, he earned Best Puppy in Show as well as Reserve Best Puppy in show. Not too shabby. His dad, River, earned back-to-back Best in Shows in this venue (UKC) back in February.

My job continues to go well and I love it. I have great co-workers, a wonderful boss and lots of fun and challenging (career-wise) projects.

And...today was Father's Day. Another day set aside to formally remember dads. I remember mine and miss him.

Well....it's almost 2 a.m. so I'd better get to bed so I can go to work tomorrow.

Happy June is Dairy Month!!
