Tag, I'm It: Optimist Mom Tagged Me for the Book Game
Hi there everyone -
My sister is really "into" blogging. She's the one that got me into this, but she's like the Queen of blogdom. She also has her own world of blog friends and it seems that they're playing this game.
So, since I was tagged....(how cool is that?), I'm going to play along, especially since I'm enjoying a great book at this time.
Here are the rules:
1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people.
(1) I have the book right here on my desk. The book is entitled: "In the Meantime: Finding Yourself and the Love You Want" by Iyanla Vanzant.
(2) I have opened the book to page 123. The chapter is entitled, "Doing the Laundry" and the section is subtitled: "Lift the Thoughts About You!"
(3) Done.
(4) I wanted someone to treat me special and make me feel special. In the absence of a meaningful love relationship, I went through my days feeling incomplete and worthless. Of course, I never said one word.
(5) Tag five people.
Here ya go family and friends: Anne (Mom) Bookie, Victoria over at Sundries, Sue H(a sister to Ruth's friend, Kathie), another one of Ruth's contacts, the Navy Bride who has a very cool blog, and lastly, the guy famous for furniture making: Sippican Cottage (I enjoy going to this blog).
Okay...I did my tag thing...and it was fun. Not quite sure what a meme is....but I guess I just accomplished it.
Wisconsin is gearing for weather on all fronts....hopefully we'll survive it all. This is the calm before the storm.
